So, it seems I got hit by a passing meme.

Well, I’ve a prediction that’s not strictly a foretelling, but my worst prediction by far was the time I guessed that removing the file /lib/libc.so.4 [1] in order to install a new version of linux libc was a smart idea.

[1] Or something like that, I don’t remember exactly: it was around the years ‘95-‘96 of the previous century, and I found myself readily and happily reinstalling a Slackware distribution from a hundred of 3.5” floppies.
